Just wanted to followup on this. I purchased it on sale during Prime Days for $75 and I am really enjoying it. I still have not pulled the trigger on a crossbow yet, but I continue to look for deals. With the timing of my move, I won't be a resident until Nov so I am not in a hurry. I have a lifetime license in Mississippi, so I may just hunt there this year.
Just wanted to say a quick thank you for the suggestion.

I bought an Excalibur Micro 380 2 years ago and it’s been awesome. You can do most everything to it yourself and it’s very accurate. I’ve killed 2 deer with it so far. If you wait until after hunting season Bowie Outfitters runs sales on the Excals and I found mine for half off. It was a hell of a deal.

Good Deal. Did you order a new string for it? The one that comes with it is pretty lame. a good Flemish twist string will improve the bows performance . You can order one from 3Rivers for around $20.00. I'm assuming you have the 60" 3 piece black hunter longbow? If so the bow is 60" and you woudl need to order a 57" string. Enjoy trad shooting..

Scratched the traditional itch. Got the 45lb "T Bow" (Hoyt Satori clone).... $200 on Amazon & has IBF swappable limbs. Feels very well made and suprisingly easy to instinctfully shoot accurately at close range. I've only slung a few dozen arrows (@ 10-15 yds) to get a feel for mechanics of traditional archery. To my suprise haven't missed my bag target & shooting softball sized groups.
Lot of fun so far! For anyone on the fence, I shoot 62lb compound and 45lb feels perfect as a beginner. Plenty of speed and easy to shoot w/ good form.
Will update "review" if anything changes

Both mine pushed me into the crossbow game. In fact, going in for a consultation this week to get the left shoulder replaced after hunting season. I’ll do the right after next year’s hunting season.
