I enjoy dogwoods as well, but a close alternative could be a serviceberry tree. Not as many blooms, but they are sometimes mistaken for dogwoods. You also get a fruit from it.
250,000? That sounds like what LSU students will be paying to pay for their coaches and players. Remind me, is it only the players that have income tax exemptions, or do coaches have it as well in Louisiana?
I’m traveling this week but will dive into it next week. We try to let things go to seed in the spring before mowing when possible, but it’s just not possible for us everywhere.
He needed a little time to transfer campaign funds to his retirement account.
We called it clover. Back then it was welcomed. That was before homeowners were brainwashed by chemical companies.
So when do we start attacking the infrastructure? Tomorrow?

I’m just watching the video of it. The guy punched him because he threw the drink on him. Twitter.

So you don’t think the Ole Miss kid that threw the drink on him should be charged with assault?
Ole Miss fan threw a drink on him while he was leaving.

Did you make a purchase? I have a riding mower but have been looking at an elec push mower. I picked up the 7amp Evo push mower this week and used it for the first time yesterday. I was impressed by how well it cut and how quiet it was.

Missouri Seedling Tree Sale

I have used this source for probably 15 years. They have good prices and good information about different varieties of trees. You will have a hard time finding better prices (other than people offering to give you some seedlings).

If you have that much land I always recommend planting a few long leaf pines. They will look like a small shrub/plant for 5-7 years until they shoot up about 5-7 feet in one year.

A few of my favorite trees (not necessarily the easiest to get to grow though) are big leaf magnolia, yellowwood, american beautyberry and devils walking stick. The devils walking stick has thorns and love lowlying areas so be careful where you plant it. It is a great pollinator plant youtube and host plant to one of my favorite butterflies.

Doug Tallamy is a great source for turning your yard into a national park by planting natives. Doug Tallamy Brining Nature Home is a great book. Louisiana has a Native Plant Society that would be a great source for information as well.
Any youtube video or tips on trellis for a passion fruit that will be moved in and out of a greenhouse? I am thinking about building a trellis and leaving it in place where I install the popup greenhouse so it does not have to be moved every year.

Fire suppression is designed to give people time to get out of the building, not to save a building.
They will get at least 6 weeks in prison for that in California.

Audubon - Instructions on how to build an owl box

This is what I used ti build my latest owl box. The only thing different I did was make it so I could access it from the side panel.

I have built several, over the years for screech owls. I have one in my yard now that woodpeckers seem to be more interested in.

Former thru-hiker myself. You still get back to the trail any? If I have to travel anywhere near the trail I try to spend a few extra days to get some miles in.
