Not sure, but at least Arkansas State hasn’t banned charcoal grills.

re: Hats off to Waffle House for employing people

I wake up before everyone else in my family so I went to Waffle House Christmas morning so I could leave a good tip to the people working on Christmas Day. I wasn’t expecting it to be 9 employees. The manager was giving one of the employees a hard time because he had to bail her out of jail the night before.

I've basically given up on riding on the road. Between distracted drivers, druggies, and people who are flat out aggressive towards bikes, it's not safe to be out there anymore.
It's why I ended up with Peloton (plus it's so hot here), but I really miss it. I halfway shopping for a new road bike currently but doubt if I will purchase one this year. I have not done any tris since before moving to Alaska, but I want to get back into it next year so I need to start working on a base.
For Those that Follow Triathlons - 2-Time NCAA Champ Hannah Henry Killed by a Driver

Hannah Henry, who won the 2017 and 2018 USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships while helping the Arizona State Sun Devils take the team titles, was killed by a driver last Sunday while riding her bicycle in Phoenix.
According to news reports, the 26-year-old Canadian was riding in a designated bike lane when 46-year-old Eric Hodge ran her over in a van, drove onto the sidewalk, and then fled the scene. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision, where Phoenix Fire Department pronounced Henry dead at the scene.
Video from the scene enabled police to identify the make and model of the van, and found it parked at a home. Police officers knocked on the door of the home, and the van’s registered owner answered the door, stating that his friend was driving the vehicle at the time. According to police reports, the registered owner asked Hodge to come outside to speak with police, but Hodge attempted to escape through the rear of the home. Officers quickly caught Hodge.
According to court documents, Hodge admitted to smoking fentanyl before he got in the van that morning. He told police that “when he smokes fentanyl, he passes out randomly and wakes up in different places.” Hodge also apparently recalled seeing “a girl on a 10-speed bicycle” shortly before the collision that took Henry’s life, but thought that he had hit a fire hydrant and not a person. He allegedly then proceeded to buy $100 of fentanyl before parking the van.

Max Patch is gorgeous. Hot Springs was devastated by flooding from Hurricane Helene.
Yeah I wasn't thinking about Helen. I was always told that about 1/3 of the population of Hot Springs had hiked the App Trail and liked the town so much they moved there after leaving the Trail.
It's very likely I will retire in the area between Crosby and Damascus VA.

I am normally someone that doesn't like subscriptions, but I subscribe as well. I get that there are environmental impacts that we are going to have to find solutions to, but to say we should boycott Ai would be like saying we should have boycotted the industrial revolution.

With Tesla's being so reasonably priced, they can't artificially inflate the cost and have consumers pay for it like they do with their trucks. Tesla is years ahead of Ford (and everyone else) while keeping prices down. The Model Y is probably the best value vehicle currently.

I just started this last year, so don't rely on me for expert advice, but I tried to get different kinds of sand and mix them. I used the gray/grit sand and the sand used for leveling brick pavers.

Sand, peat moss and vermiculite. I put a layer of pea gravel in the bottom with burlap to help with drainage.
re: What do you think was Trump's actual involvement with Epstein, if any?
Posted by TimeOutdoors on 2/11/26 at 6:30 pm to Harry Caray
Ever read relentless pursuit? It’s a book by the attorney that’s spent his career trying to get justice for the victims. According to the attorney, Trump was one of the few people willing to come forward against Epstein.

I thought salt levels this high just caused deer to urinate (flush) most of the minerals they consumed.
This is what came from the old QDMA website... The prices are probably outdated.
Dicalcium Phosphate - #50 - $20.10
Plain Stock Salt - #50 - $4.30
12/12 Trace Mineral - #100 - $35.20
TOTAL - #200 - $59.60

Now they are mad that Trump spoke out against Epstein when very few others were willing to.

Don't you typically find these in transition areas to wetlands? Probably not suitable for upland areas.

I will never understand all the hate for solar. Easy passive energy.

Got anything to manage humidity?
Good question. I expect I am usually between 60-70%. This is not the most comfortable office, especially with the other person in the office often having their window open. I will need to get something to measure the humidity and go from there.
Pickering is the smaller one. I will label them tomorrow at the office. On a side note, someone else in the office that has converted cargo doors is now looking at tropical plants for her office.

Purchased a Model Y in Sept and it is the best purchase I have made in a very long time. Not sure why people think these vehicles are great if only using them around town. Long trips without having to touch the steering wheel, brake, or gas is pretty incredible.

Near the Appalachian Trail and Max Patch. Not too far from Hot Springs (one of my all time favorite small towns). You will love it.
