Shad ought ti be pushing way in there. Can’t go wrong with a buzzbait first thing on the edge of the stumps then a bandit white splatter back crankbait. And your favorite Texas rigged plastic for the treetops. And be ready for lots of gar

I’ve had good luck out on the main river channel all summer on cuts and ditches. I haven’t been up the bayou in decades though.
