I think its like anything else, there are people that have a need for this type of ice chest.
I work with a guy that hunts west tx in the middle of no where. The place has no water and no elec. He is like 30 miles from the nearest town so they have pack everything in. He bought the largest on they have so it would be one less thing he had to worry about running out of.
