Slick hang in there man. You hit the nail on the head being a marathon. You also have to MAKE sure you take care of yourself and your wife. It is so hard to do but you need to take a moment here and there to have some time for yourself.

If you push too hard and get sick you won't be able to see Trevor until you are better. I know it's hard but, try and do something for you and your wife when you can. We spent 7 months in the NICU, you can and will get through this, just hang in there.

What I mean to say is life will go on. Little Trevor has the entire OB and more praying for him. I think of that little guy at least once a day and of Slick and his wife.

I couldn't even imagine the tribulation they are going through but the Good Lord only gives us what we can handle and it makes us stronger.

I have a feeling little Trevor will be just fine.

Damn dude.

Every time I see some really horrible situations in the hospital I also see some amazing people dealing with them. Bad situations really show you the unbelievable things you are capable of.

Just had a chance to read this. Prayers sent man.

A cousin lost her baby today to SIDS... Life can be very sobering at times. Here's to you and your little man catching some fish together in a few years.

I remember that thread 79. Life sure can reach back and bitch slap you at times. Prayers and good people can help get you through it though.

Good news this morning, they removed his oxygen tube altogether. They said it would be for a "trial run" and that they may have to put it back on, but he has been doing well with it so far. I don't think I'll make it to lunch today, may have to sneak out a little earlier.
