Alex, any updates on the Catahoula Lake situation?

Just saw this:

quote:

IT IS ORDERED that a writ of review issue and that briefing and argument
are limited to Assignment of Error No. 3: “The lower courts erred in failing to find
that the Plaintiffs’ inverse condemnation claims have prescribed under either or both
La. R.S. 13:5111 or 28 U.S.C. § 2501.”
NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA, this 6TH day of May, 2019.

OK, so what does that mean? The lawyer who alerted me to this had an initial thought that this means it's a river. My thought is different. I think this is the easiest way for the Supreme Court to reverse the case in it's entirety and say that a determination of lake vs river is unnecessary because all claims are barred by prescription(Statute of limitations).

I read it the same way. Any other final decision will result in lawsuits all over the state in a massive land grab attempt.
