Fishing license help

Could i use a birth certificate or something to get a fishing license?

I do mine on-line and just fill out the form with the information they ask for. Then it's just a matter of taking the e-mail they send with the license printed on it and I'll then have it laminated to keep in my tackle box.

You'll need a drivers license in all likelihood to prove residency. Although there may be other ways to prove it, but that's going to be your biggest problem.

You need a drivers license even on/line and you’ll need a valid ID if you’re checked. Do you not have a DL? Or are you out of state?

Also, if it is your first time getting a license, you may have problems online. I know when I tried to get my wife and daughters online, it would not work. I had to go to a store and they had to call the state. Gave some reason about it being the first time they were getting a license.
