the burger king blows my mind, how the frick are they still in business. You can literally wait 35minutes for a damn wopper

I have no idea how they stay in business. Worst I have ever seen and that is saying something for BK. the owner must not give a shite and use that one as a write off or something. Terrible establishment. The McDs across the street is one of the more efficient ones around.

didn't realize we had so many Dutchtown/Prairieville peeps in here. Y'all originals or moved in?
I actually live on the BR side of manchac but do most my shopping/eating/drinking in P-ville. Family is all from dutchtown and P-ville, Family owned a bunch of P-ville land until the mid 80's

My crew is big fans of Las Palmas. We are regulars there, usually Tuesday night so the kids eat free and get a damn balloon animal that they fight about the whole way home.

The ONLY good thing about that BK is it's open at 2 am when you're coming home waxed and really don't give a damn about waiting. Ordered 80 chicken nuggets and every BBQ sauce in the store once. Got exactly what we ordered and threw the dude working a beer for a tip

The Harvest Market has some decent plate lunches and a damn good burger.
I know a fellar that used to cook food there.
Leaders is badass too.
Las Palmas in Dutchtown is the best IMO. I could get to all three of them in less than 5 minutes.
Downshift, I'll give you a call tomorrow and we can see about fishing this weekend. I'd love to go to Gibson, but I don't trust my boat enough yet to make a haul down there.

I'll holler tomorrow. I'm going to talk to Dad and see what all this biologist fella wants to do. I may want to ride out there Saturday morning and fish Sunday. Or I may just fish Saturday if he isn't doing much.

A smoked pork chop and a link of boudin is the best lunch there IMO.

I snagged a couple links of smoked boudin the other day... was impressed...they make it in house?

Yea they make it there. It's pretty good. The guy who makes it is a damn good cook.
The smoked chickens are good too if you have somebody to help you eat it.
The owners is good people. One of them went on a hunt with mossy oak last year and killed a 150ish" 8 pernt

good deal....I used to work at a similar store in Denham when I was in high school and my first couple years of college....I can't remember who, but some vendor wanted to take us to Stuttgart one a duck hunt but I couldn't make it b/c of school
