Here is a video posted last month on how to drill in and crack one. Took him about 5 minutes and didn't destroy the box, just the lock.
He has another video demonstrating that that magnet theory does not work.
Buy a new lock, and write the combo down in several places. Maybe put it in your phone contacts notes disguised as a model no. or such.

Don’t feel bad…I got busy with work a few years ago and forgot the combo to my big safe with quite a lot of guns inside.
Had opened it thousands of times, and one day- poof….couldn’t remember it at all.
Turned the house upside down looking for the combination card. Then resorted to buying new guns to take on trips- which was actually kinda cool.
Finally- called Browning- they had me call the police- police came and wrote a report saying that it was me, the safe was mine, and faxed it in. Browning got in touch with me and gave me the combo. 100% on the customer service there!
