Was just a political favor from Landry to Trump to begin with

Madison Sheahan, the deputy director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is resigning from her role to run for Congress in Ohio, multiple federal law enforcement sources told Fox News.

The announcement was made internally this morning, the sources added. Sheahan is running for Ohio's 9th Congressional District, currently represented by Democrat Rep. Marcy Kaptur, who assumed office in 1983 and is the longest serving woman in Congress. Kaptur was re-elected in November 2024, despite many of the counties in the district voting in favor of President Donald Trump that year.

"No Excuses. Let's Get It Done," read a message on Sheahan's campaign website. "Former ICE Deputy Director Madison Sheahan is fighting to protect American jobs, American paychecks, and American values in Ohio's 9th Congressional District."

I find it very suspicious and likely did nothing at LDWF

That's the weirdest political fast-climb. From South Dakota worked under Noem's campaign, hired to lead LA WLF right out of college with heavy pressure on Landry from RNC, then moved way up in ICE under DHS Secretary Noem (Former SD Gov), now running for congress in OH. All this in a span of 6ish years

WTF. I'd say she's taking the Kamala route to power but she's no looker.

Fairly certain she’s a lesbian.

Whatevah would give you that idea
Her father is a huge R donor-bag man, willing to bet she is way smarter than several on the USSC. Bet she also knows what a women is.

She’d 100% win if he/she would run as a Democrap.
She checks the boxes-ugly lesbian.

If she did nothing it would be better than what the previous people did or allow to happen under their watch. I have very little respect for LDWF and the stuff they do. At least in the BR metro area. I much prefer the SW Mississippi green jeans as long as they ain't dating wop head dolly.

Louisiana is a corrupt state, but Landry appointing her was hilarious. No connection to the state, no experience in conservation. Just a supreme display of arrogance by Landry. I have no clue if she did or did not do anything, but I would have loved to been a fly on the wall for some of the conversations in that office. I can’t imagine she had much respect.

I’m just surprised a trans person was able to run through the ranks in the Republican Party like this

The few interviews I heard her do was a ridiculous mix of corporate buzzwords. It was obvious she didn't know shite about LA or the outdoors.

She was on Don Dabuc show talking about pogie boats and duck hunting and I could tell in his voice he was aggravated at her.

Unqualified and says a lot without saying shite. Perfect politician.

She must be wildly connected and have a huge backer to rise to power so quickly.

It’s amazing to watch some of these folks who would struggle to land a entry level job in any industry rise to the level they do as fast as they do, and I’m talking about both sides of the isle!!
It appears her family already has money so I’m assuming power and influence is the goal.
Kind of like Kevin Costner in yellow stone just need you there for influence

I applauded moving away from DEI to merit based hiring… However, this isn’t any different than how the prior governing bodies acted. Getting pissed on from both sides of the isle
