Totally agree. I said it because my intentions were to hunt bucks only

Gotcha, I am always amazed by the amount of people I come across who make claims like “ I wish the neighbors would quit shooting they keep ruining my hunts”
Your hunt might be ruined but it’s not because of bubba redneck shooting hell he shoot’s year around!!

So much for the buck hunt?

You might not see a buck, it won’t be because of shooting that pig!!

Any input on the gun? Thanks

They are great guns, buddy of mine has had one for years I shot it a few times and swore I was gonna get one day. Started shooting some sporting clays and ended up getting a browning cynergy instead.
A beretta is still on my list of guns I will have one day!!

HOW does this qualify you for anything other than a rowing coach?! Ready for society to go back to merit based.

They failed to mention a few bullets.
-Got rid of the pogy boats
-improved LA trophy deer herd
-removed wild pigs from LA
-made crossbows illegal
-made it a felony to lose a empty corn bag out the back of a truck
-dad has a ton of money and was owed some favors

Did a short run to try and feel out the cold weather for LA Half Marathon on Sunday. It’s going to be cold. What gear is everyone wearing?

Same as last year. Shorts, throw away sweatshirt dropped at about mile 3 gloves that I will probably lose at mile 7.
I could be wrong but i don’t think last year was this cold?!

She must be wildly connected and have a huge backer to rise to power so quickly

It’s amazing to watch some of these folks who would struggle to land a entry level job in any industry rise to the level they do as fast as they do, and I’m talking about both sides of the isle!!
It appears her family already has money so I’m assuming power and influence is the goal.
Kind of like Kevin Costner in yellow stone just need you there for influence

Question - Who leaves their rifles in the deer stand?

A felon who does not want to be transporting them to and from the woods, carry a cross bow to a stand with a gun that stays in it.

How old were these "children

It says 8th grade.
Possibly 18-20yrs old

In the marshes it will get you in a bind REAL quick lots of what it calls public is private and I’ve witnessed some nasty disagreements over it

Some of the disagreements are the result of people “claiming” what they think is theirs based on generational information that was intentionally or unintentionally inaccurate.

m just wondering what the opinion of the board will be.

It might be lower it might be higher it might be left it might be right. It will be fairly close and you might be able to live with not moving it but you will have to check.
Also 150 crklt doing 3200+fps completely destroy the front ends of deer.

re: Deer lease

Not sure how to say this without coming across as a dikk but.
There is not a single piece of ground in miss or La worth leasing that’s available for leasing.
May be to late for this season but an organization that I donated some fishing trips for years ago is called catch a dream foundation. They grant wishes to terminally ill kids who want to hunt and fish.
Another organization you can check with and pitch it to is called Ainsley’s angels one of the local chapters. They provide racing wheelchairs for local races (5ks marathons) and such but they are a small close knit group of volunteers who would know of any wheelchair bound athletes that would be interested.
It’s very rewarding and humbling experience volunteering for either organization.

Oh yeah, I shined him. I flipped back and forth from red to white, and ran through the brightness settings so he could see a flashing light. He was in a bad spot, and only shot once at some woodies just after daybreak

I don’t hunt public anymore except out west but it’s amazing how people just don’t know. One of my last hunts on public was at buckhorn and I was set up in a climberon a strip of woods going into some crp probably a mile off the road with the wind in my face. An ol boy comes in 5min before daylight an I flash him and he flashes me back and we do that for 2-3 mins and he sets up 150yd on the ground right in my scent trail. I saw some deer he wasn’t messing me up but didn’t care that the wind was completely cutting him off!!!
