If they are serious deer hunters learn the difference between mature dee

Don't refer to shooting deer as

Yeah, might not be the best idea.

if I may hijack this thread for a second...don't waste your time. If its good all pros and bros will be out there giving you the shite eye and if its closing out its only really bodyboardable (unreal to see). Go down the road to Sunset or Waimea (if its manageable). Had a much better time there. The entire island is amazing though. Going on a trip to surf cloudbreak in Fiji, the gold coast of Australia, and New Zealand next year....absolutely can't wait.

Awesome advice and sounds like a great trip you got planned. Charge it!

I skipped a couple pages in the thread, so this may have been said, but, depending on what your are hunting (cutover, thicket, bottom), you may want to consider a shotgun and buckshot. Lessen the variables that you have to worry about.

My stepdad took my sister's boyfriend hunting last week. He's ex military and don't know shite about hunting. He missed an 8 pt--3 times-from 75 to 40 yards. He wishes he'd used a shotgun.
