The campground was empty yesterday. They are losing so much money because of the new system. Any idiot should have seen that coming.

Told those fools that when they made the changes. I don't mind increased fees if improvements are made to the facilities. If the money stays there. They've alienated a lot of locals with their new policies that were meant to accommodate people from out of town. I grew up camping out there and am raising my son camping out there, but its changed.

We didn’t see the first bed last weekend when we went. It’s funny how fast things change.

Is it still $7 to use the machine for day use at the park?

Where is the other launch?
Is it in decent shape to launch a boat?

Yes.

The other launch is on Martin Springs road. You take Fish Hatcher road off 165. Only downside is very limited parking. I wouldn't show up at 8 on a weekend and expect to use it without having to park on the shoulder way down the road. We used the park yesterday because it's an easier drive for me and we were fishing that area.

Water temp was 66 everywhere I went Saturday. Only caught 3 bass due to wasting too much time trying the perch. I obviously don't know what I'm doing, because I consulted with Alx several times during the day. He wound up with a box full and I a zero.

Biggest was close to 5#.

I went yesterday afternoon and walked the bank where i caught some. Only bite was a bass. That new water has them messed up. Wonder how long this will take to get back to normal.

Don't know about that water - prob back to normal after a couple of days.

Did you catch in front of the reeds? Tried that a while to the right of the point we fished last year. Nada

Yes, but not near that point. Foot fished closer to them than I did, and he got some bites. Unfortunately, two of those were toothy critters.
