Is there anything more peaceful than watching your dog run in open country?

We have been through many dogs over the years and everyone of them looks more at peace than any other creature on earth running in front of the truck while we tend to the property
I honestly look forward to the first work weekend of the year just for this. It’s always so cool to me as well even though it’s been months, they always know exactly which stands and such we are going to in the exact order

Yeah when your dog isn't an arse.
As kids, we had farm dogs, theyd run for miles when we got firewood and whatnot.
As an adult, my fat arse couch potatoes can't make it to the lake and back.

If my dog didn’t want to run I would have to Kristi Noem it’s arse, and ironically enough it’s the same breed this time around

Aint much better. I love watching my dog hunt. All I use her for is blood trailing but her true love is tearing varmints up.
Was just saying the other day how I hate seeing an animal suffer and always try to kill em as quickly as possible when I have to but when my dog is brutally murdering a raccoon, rat, squirrel, feral cat, or possum I'm watching like this.
I wish she'd grow some sack and do the same to my wife's useless arse dog.

I will add to watching them run out in the open.
We have a 20 acres and when I cut the grass they are beside themselves rolling around in it, making noises, jumping and playing. Makes me happy watching them go full zoomy mode while I drink a beer after cutting.

I do it every day, 4-6 miles with my Belgian along the bayou. It's as good for this late 60's former athlete as it is for him. I run the 4-6, he runs about 8-10.
