Where I hunt, I'm just starting to see rubs, fresh scrapes and buck movement. Area 6

Wind calmed down right at sunset and was fairly calm the last 30 minutes of light. And almost as soon as that happened deer started moving and I saw 6 doe.

That’s how it was yesterday for me. Wind stopped at 4:50/5:00 and then 4 deer came out.

I’m anxious to see if more deer showed up after we got off the food plot.

Update cracked a lopsided buck with a short bottom jaw right at dark. Been a while since I shot one felt good and that one needed out of the gene pool. Have seen a couple bucks on camera with that deformity over the last few seasons.

That’s what I was thinking.

There was zero blood at the shot sight for my daughter. But we saw where he went and he was definitely hit the way he took off. He was 20-30 yards from the shot sight. I was just glad he dropped right before the 10-15 ft drop into the creek.
