That's the word. Heard good reports from 4 Bayou and fourchon beaches. We stayed in Leeville in muddy water. Slow day up here. Maybe when the tide starts falling in a few hours.

Nice day

I should have trusted my instincts and gone to the island.

Live bait or plastic?

Trout , the wind was blowing pretty good this morning. We're glad we stayed inshore. We got our limit of reds and some drum. Sure it was slow, but the ride to the island would've been a bitch. It ain't sorry we skipped it.

I fished a few cuts in caillou bay and it was muddy. It really wasn't that rough running E-W...would have been a calmer ride to the island.

We caught 1 trout in Mechant.

Plastic, everyone was throwing live though. We showed up late and left early compared to the live bait users around us. That's what made our trip to me!!!!

We sucked in leeville today, too. Couldn't even find any redfish. Tried to wait on the falling tide, but had to leave at 2;30

Going to head out and rock some snapper in the morning. Winds look like they are going to lay down and make it a nice day tomorrow.
