I have a 14 year old 22 foot Sun Tracker and it has been a good boat but I am thinking about getting a new boat. Veranda pontoon boats look nicer and fancier than Sun Tracker and they are not "Bass Pro boats." However, they also cost a lot more money. FWIW right now it will mostly be my dogs, my girlfriend, and myself who will be using it and occasionally some friends. Is a Veranda worth the extra money?

IF the motor is in good shape, Maybe redo the floor, seats etc, buff the pontoons.
I have a 2021 2.7 f-150

Good on gas and plenty enough power to tow. If you don’t care about money , get the V8 or 3.5, but if you’re on a budget like I am, the 2.7 is the way to go.

I tow a 2300 pathfinder (5000# with trailer and fuel) every other week with no issues.

Are you significantly upgrading your home? Or is it weighted in higher mortgage interest?

Going from my Bachelor pad to building a custom home. Plus loosing my 3.5% interest rate. But what the wife wants the wife gets.

I won a black and decker battery powered pressure washer a few years ago and it sucked. No pressure at all. But it was a super cheap product.

Highjack. What boat are you doing this in? A sailboat I’d assume, how big?

Doin’ without. You don’t like it, sell it to me. I’m planning 6mos cruise in 27 if things work out…I’ll cruise by you then.

Anybody been lately?

Fished catfish lake area last Friday. Lots of perfect slots in shallow clean water. Probably caught 15 or so on a solo trip. They were all super hungry.

Good luck!

This can absolutely happen prior to FID. Its probably part of their contractor commitments they referenced.

Committing is easy, but nothing will happen until there is a PO in someone's inbox. No IFC package, no long lead items ordered etc. Thats what we need.

One positive from the earnings call I noted near the end was Andy Robinson saying Standard’s project portfolio in East Texas is much larger than is publicly known. It’s not just the Franklin project and he looks forward to getting this info out the market.

All that is nice and all, but every project increases the dollars needed, and they cant even commit to spending on the first project.......

I need commitment, movement, engineering, contractors, concrete, stock price to go to 15 etc.

The US dropped a bomb that cost that much on a 87' Tacoma in IRAN last week.

If you fish/boat, think about if you will own a boat with a T-top. Go with 12' doors if so.

220 power if you weld.

The question is the owner an individual or an entity like the school board or an oil company. If it's an organization that just holds the land as an asset, it's not as risky.

This,
I have a camp on an island in the marsh that is owned by an oil company. havent had a problem in 30 years.

But look at the camps on Graveyard Island on Bell River/Lake Verret. All those camps (50+) were on leased land owned by a family. 3-4 years ago the land owning family quit renewing the lease. It was either buy the land under your camp or loose your camp. IF you couldnt afford your camp on the 100K price tag land, you were shite out of luck.

re: LOOP Crude Oil Spill

I fished Cocodrie on Saturday. Ran between Caillou Boca and Coon Point on the way in from offshore, wind blowing 10-15 mph. Had a decent chop in the Gulf. When we got behind the island, we could smell the oil and for as far as you could see, there wasnt a ripple on the water for 3-or 4 square miles. Weirdest thing I have seen in a while. After a few miles of riding through this area, we quit smelling the oil and the chop picked back up.

There were 20-30 boats putting out oil boom and working the beaches.
Added 2.5k under $4.

Would be nice if the elusive FID would come out this month....

If he is as smart as you say he is, going into the trades is still a good option. Learn the trade, then own the business in that trade or move into a management position. He can make more money than most white collar folks do. Having a detailed understanding of the work he manages puts him in a class that most cannot compete with.

I cant really help, but i will say the trailer for my skiff has never been registered. Bought it in Mississippi , and it was originally from another state that doesn't require registration. I tried for a while to track down all the paperwork needed to register it but was unsuccessful. I have been stopped once in 10 years, told the officer I lost the plate, and i dont think he ticketed me.

I know its illegal, but ill take the risk since there is minimal risk involved. I dont plan on selling either.
80% is probably a pre-sale goal and the remaining 20% will be in the open market. Either cut back production or produce and store if the storage fee is not horrible.

I bet they are also smart enough not to agree on 100% output when this is new tech. The plant may not be able to reach/ produce the full 22,500 ton capacity and they do not want to breach contracts.
This is our Monthly run up for end of the month news possibility, followed by the beginning of the month draw down because of no new.
Im building a new home an will go with Glued. The difference is the noise. The floating is louder. especially with dogs and their claws.

re: Sea dek for bay boat

Posted by Elusiveporpi on 2/23/26 at 2:09 pm to
I had Gray Seadek in my last bay Boat. Everything shows. Everything stains. only way to to get it out was a pressure waters, and only some stains come out. Fish blood. good luck if it dries.

If i jumped in my boat with my shoes on at the house it would leave a mark. and would not come out with a brush and soap.

I bought the boat with the seadek in it so it was old, but still, i would never own a boat with it installed. Plus, once its down its a PIA removing it.
