re: Sea dek for bay boat
Posted by Elusiveporpi on 2/23/26 at 2:09 pm to Ron Cheramie
I had Gray Seadek in my last bay Boat. Everything shows. Everything stains. only way to to get it out was a pressure waters, and only some stains come out. Fish blood. good luck if it dries.
If i jumped in my boat with my shoes on at the house it would leave a mark. and would not come out with a brush and soap.
I bought the boat with the seadek in it so it was old, but still, i would never own a boat with it installed. Plus, once its down its a PIA removing it.

Wife just bought the TX350 used with 20k miles. Has third row with decent room behind it. Time will tell on longevity. Its basically a Grand Highlander, but don't tell her that.......

it wasnt too low Sunday before last. But the reds were stubborn. I passed a bait an inch in front of 50 redfish and only a few would bite. water was in the 40's.
The north wind is what holds it down. Fish when its blows out the south and you should have more water.

Possible reasoned for the fall per AI “The sharp drop in lithium stock prices on January 30, 2026, was primarily caused by reports that a major Chinese lithium mine would soon resume operations, leading to concerns about increased supply flooding the market. Additionally, a separate report suggesting the U.S. government might be moving away from critical mineral price floor agreements added to market uncertainty. “

I would love to know how the site has ran/performed through these winter storms. Lots of plants/industrial facilities struggle to keep running through below freezing temps for an extended amount of time. Or they could have shut down until the freeze is over since they are not making a profit anyway.
SMACK, you have any intel on this?

Another option- I'm building soon and I'm going electric. It never gets cold enough in LA to enjoy the fireplace for more that 20 minutes without the house getting too hot.
I just want the fireplace look and watch the "flames" without the heat.

I’m bored in this cold weather. Let’s let our imaginations run for a minute. What do you think SLI will run to after FID announcement? Lots of people are saying it’s built in already. I’m thinking it’s not. I’m thinking we hit $7.5 with absolutely nothing to back that up.
What’s everyone say?

I'm not sure what delay you are talking about, but the answer would be "its SLI, Par for the course"
Last I heard FID was January timeframe.

re: Montana or Colorado Fly Fishing Trip
Posted by Elusiveporpi on 1/12/26 at 9:10 am to DownSouthTiger
I went to Bozeman Mid June last year. pretty awesome. We fly fished about an hour away, south of Ennis in the Madison River. Did some white water rafting closer to Bozeman that was a blast. The rafting guide said that end of May, early June is when the rapids are the biggest.

No I don’t make it that far north, but there are some good spots in Boudreaux. Especially where the pumps empty out at.

re: leveling a pier and beam house

You shouldn’t level from inside the house, you should level your floor joist. Everything above should follow.
