Nope. Decided to downsize for a bit. BF just moved 4 hours away. Got a Ford Escape. I'll get another truck in prob 2-3 years and it'll be for hauling only. I'll keep my 'car' for everyday driving.

Your truck was named "Moby Dick"? What did you do with that truck?

My coworker named it....it was a big, white whale.

I traded it in. after the issues I had, I didn't care anymore. Allstar called and wanted it on the right day. i did love it though.

I was a little bit scared it got that name because of something like the SNL Mercury Mistress.

Ecoboost? Might as well just leave it in the driveway for your own safety.

It's supposedly fixed but I have an OCD perfectionist personality. But even recognizing that I fully believe there are ride issues that are very hard to notice if one is not in tune with their vehicle. Only notice it at high speeds. Weird vibration that I'm pretty sure wasn't there before

Will probably drive it for a few more years until I'm not upside down on the principle and then trade it in. I'll just have to deal with it. Sucks. I'm going after diminished value so hopefully I'm not just getting raped dry. A little lube would be nice

I hear ya man, I'm the same way. At least when it was still that new

You'll notice it less and less as time passes

You know that you can select ANY motor now if you custom order it...

Yeah, I'm just not sure which I would want. I had heard a lot of good things about the Ecoboost from some friends and farmers in the area, but then started hearing about the issues and potential fixes, so I'm torn.

Don't over think it. The motor is still stupid reliable, just not the perfect motor that people claimed it to be.

Do some real research on it and you realize it's not that big of a problem and especially not in the 2013. My dad just bought a green gem lariat with the ecoboost that I talked him into after researching it for a while. It's a bad MFer and towed our 24' Nautic Star better than anything I've seen.

No but only have 10k on it. Love mine bro. And it performs!!!

Eta: my issue was that some drunk bitch plowed into the back of my KR. 6 months old. 13k worth of damage. Dented cab. Whole new bed. New rear axle and assembly. New leaf springs. Two new rims and tires. Fml

Must be miserable to not be able to separate your business and personal life.
