Pics of your lady in said kayak would help with repair estimates
Then he would have more holes in it though.
Seriously OP....the melted bucket as mentioned is a solution. Best bet is to check out YouTube and look at all the different methods. Some say that you can get material from the kayak manufacturer of your model to use as filler.

I saw this on the OT and knew this thread would head down the wrong path.
Now that its on OB we need to know kayak make/model and detail description of hole. Pics would be best. In general, plastic welding of some sort will probably be the answer.

Do not use a blow torch. Go get a heat gun. I bought a cheap one from harbor freight. Try to find a 5 gallon bucket with a color similar to your yak. Cut out a piece out from the bucket slightly larger than the hole. Place the piece on a metal plate and heat it up. You want it to to be pliable but not super soft. I like using putty knives. Once you get the right consistency place the piece on the hole. Work it in. You’ll probably have to reheat the patch to work it some more. I’ve also just heated the knife and worked the patch. If it’s on the bottom of the hull I’d at two pieces to reinforce it. You can also sand that spot down if you want it smoother.

There's also probably a way to repair it using noodles of some sort, like ramen.

D10 Ascend sit in kayak.
Don't have pics currently of the hole. It's relatively small but it's on the bottom fin at the rear of the boat.

Maybe an inch, small but it's on the bottom.

You could also use West Marine's G/Flex epoxy. It's one of the only ones that will stick to polyethylene.
