I know about what I want, just haven’t been able to find one. Some sites seem to have them in stock but when you click to buy, they’re actually out. I’m gonna try Buds and PSA like the other responder suggested. Thanks.

I found a place where I can backorder. I’m on the list for a S&W SD9. It’s striker fire and 16+1 and almost everything else I wanted.

If you know the gun you want, try searching it on gunwatcher.com.
For whatever reason, it won't load for me unless I do it in an incognito window.
But that's the search engine I used to find my AR 15 a couple weeks ago. I did some initial searches to find the potential options, then searched via GW for each, until I found one.
I ended up getting a complete rifle under $500, when the lowest that gundeals and wikiarms was finding was about $700. It found a store that those sites didn't list.

Quick search on Buds for 9 mm with 4” barrel there are 14 different guns in stock. Also if you find one you like out of stock set a notification. They didn’t have the 10mm Banshee I wanted a couple weeks ago and 2 days later it was back in stock. But you have to jump on them as they go fast.

Another option, if you are open to buying used, is to get to learn the "store front" sellers that use the big gun sites.
James Wayne Firearms on Gunsamerica and Gunsinternational will list some guns in batches. Right before covid, they had the Star Model 30 for under $250, which was a great deal for a reliable steelframe DA/SA 9mm with a 15 rd mag. Sure, it's a 80's era Wundernine, But so are the Beretta's, Sig P series, CZ, 3rd Gen S&W, Ruger etc. They work, they're rugged, they have good SA triggers, etc.
They've had others before, they import surplus and police trade-in guns.
There's others on gunbroker, I think Mach 1 still does a lot of the Israeli stuff.
These are used but decent guns that would have cost a pretty penny new, and list at a good price now.

I've been researching the CZ P-10 F (full size, the C version is their compact).
Review.
Little higher end, but it looks like a sweet gun. Seen them go for mid $400's to low $500's. Plus shipping and FFL potentially. Love the OD Green version.

I tried to buy this p-10 compact yesterday but kept getting an error after payment section.

Sweet looking gun. Good price. Probably the volume of customers right now?
I'm following several on GunBroker right now with vendors with very high positive reviews. Maybe check those out too?

I like a lot of ODG frames too. Especially with the black slide. I don’t care for the silver slides against the ODG.

That's possible but it does say in stock and ready to ship. I am confident it isn't on my end with good card and multiple browsers
