Canada goose limit in La is 1 per person per day. Not really worth targeting them specifically.

Lubbock or somewhere in the panhandle of Texas. More or less Louisiana.

I must also say that any goose, no matter the species, which was bred and came to life in Canada is, by definition, a Canadian Goose...so all almost all of the specks and snows and what not in Louisiana are, by definition, Canadian. On the other hand a Canada goose can be born anywhere....

TX Panhandle.

This. Hands down. Combine it with a crane hunt.

It is, or was, entirely possible, 7 years ago, to get access to private fields west of US 385 and into New Mexico and around Pampas Texas. The area between Clovis, Portales and Mule Shoe can be LOADED with geese, crane and ducks when the pressure is on east of US 385 and for some reason farmers in the area are open to the idea of someone setting up a field spread on birds using their fields...especially if they hunt themselves but do not own a field spread....I had some fantastic hunts in and around that area and around Pampa from 2014-2019. East of 385 though you can forget it, the outfitters have it all tied up. There is also some opportunity as far south as LaMesa and Seminole. Also surprisingly easy to get on private dove shooting in that area for some reason although leaving New Mexico for Texas to go shoot dove would be kind of dumb LOL...unless you do not like shooting a limit in 30 minutes every day of the season on public land with nary another soul within 20 miles....

Not Louisiana but I'd suggest Key West in the winter.

Clear Creek Stud Horse Farm

I'm very close to Clear Creek. I have Canadas flying over daily and they visit my ponds. One day I noticed lots of groups flying over mid day, which is unusual. They usually hang there from morning until evening. Didn't think much of it.

I was running an errand later in the day and saw some of their laborers under the oak trees, taxing them. Dropping geese in cowboy hats and boots.

Not sure if I would eat a goose that spends all day every day eating horse manure.

Working in Dequeen, Arkansas some years ago and was staying in little golf course motel.
The place was covered in Canada geese.
Local kids got permission to murder and cleaned them out.
Everyone rejoiced.

Shot one in arkansas 20ish years ago when I was i think 14 or 15... coffin blind in Stuttgart
Came over. Popped his arse.
Guide came running and screaming "you coonasses will shoot anything, especially if it's out of season"

That day I found out you couldn't shoot them just any day during duck season

Go to another state.

Where depends on what you want to shoot.

Honkers or sqeaukers.

Squeakers the Midwest is fun

West coast if you want mondo wads of true cacklers.

Fighter jet honkers, Minnesota, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, upstate New York for the early season. Not much beats a good honker shoot on a migrator day.
