Glad this was bumped. Totally missed the thread when it began.
Great info even if you are only a dabbler at land management.
FYI He has a new podcast episode as of June 5 '24 that recaps the effects of last year's drought on fawn numbers and gives an initial report on his spring plot plantings.
I guess when you are way up north, near Raleigh Ms, early June is still spring
