It maybe pre sold trucks . I’ll order a new one in the spring and will probably use Natchez Ford again. They’ve been easy to deal with on my last two trucks.

Mark dodge in lake Charles is supposedly a very good no-bullshite place but I've never bought from them.
I bought my truck from them, can definitely attest to this and will definitely go back to them in the future. Zero bullshite.

If ypu decide on a diesel, I'd get the Ford 6.7.
If it's a gas, I'd get any GM with the 6.2.
Not sure if the 6.2 has AFM, but think that works better than it used to, maybe.

If you’re not paying for the truck then purchase a heavy duty with diesel. It will keep its resell value thus giving you more money back down the road.
I purchased a 2015 Ford F-250 with the 6.7, drove it for 8 years with almost zero issues and sold it recently for $10k depreciation from what I bought it for. Not a bad deal especially if my boss paid for it. I’m now in a 2023 F-250 with the 6.7 and it’s way more capable, better handling, and more fuel efficient.
Modern diesels can be very reliable if you are disciplined with how you drive it and do maintenance. Get your fuel from reliable sources, drain the fuel/water separator regularly, follow the maintenance schedule, and don’t idle it too much. Just my .02 cents.
Best of luck with the decision and let us know what you choose.

Thank you. I am down to a 2023 king ranch or lariat chrome package (Doesn’t really matter but may be able to get the HO 6.7 in the king ranch.) and a 2024 GMC 2500 AT4. I’ve test driven both makes and one doesn’t stand out ride or performance wise over the other. Both have features I like that the other doesn’t have. Planning on driving the exact trucks I would get and deciding from there.
