Amazing how in my 55 yrs this has changed. Had this happened to me as you or your neighbor it would have been easy. First we would already be on a first name basis unless they are PITA trash. Even if they like watching deer and don’t hunt we would have become neighbors. Then hopefully we both care enough to learn the laws. And if one makes a mistake we just tell him that he better look out for the game wardens because it’s 100 yrds not 80. And if the offending party doesn’t get the hint then more is required. In a low fence area yiu don’t want me putting feeders within unlawful limits by you as much as I don’t want you doing it by me. Buck up and follow the law and apologize but tell him that he doesn’t need to call the law to get you to do the right thing. And educate yourself on the rules bro.
