How long would it take to dig a one acre pond with a dozer? And who wants to loan me the dozer?
I have a small piece of land in Mississippi that I hunt on and have looked into putting pond on it but not sure if it would hold water.

We need to start a thread just about this subject.

Here's a great source of info if you want to build and/or maintain a pond. LINK

Thanks, I forgot to mention I was using an ultra light rod and reel with 4# test line. It took me close to 5 minutes to reel in. Every time he came close to the bank he'd run 20 yards out and I'd do it all over again. Then I had 3 kids between the ages of 3 and 6 trying to get a look at the fish while I was reeling it in. They all had fishing poles in their hands. I'm just as surprised the bass was in my pond as I was the kids didn't somehow pop the line.
