You're clearly invested in tournament fishing and glitter boats, and you're clearly on the losing team here. Carry on talking shite though

You sound highly jealous of folks who have bass boats.

Show us where the bass fishermen touched you. Or did a fella in a bass boat frick your ole lady?

I kayak on Lake Norman, so these fricking morons running like idiots are a concern.

You can kayak wherever you want just assume the dangers that come along with it on open water. Just like the duck hunters take on the dangers of running the Mississippi River to duck hunt. (something I’d never do due to ships/barges)

Kayaking an open lake is similar to running a duck boat through head of passes?

You aren't doing team glitter any favors in any of these threads.

Do you even own a boat? Do you go on the water ever?

Whether a bass boat, John boat, ski boat, duck boat whatever is gonna throw a wake to frick up anyone in a canoe, kayak, pirogue. That’s the point I was making.

Of course I own a boat. I grew up in a boat. I learned from a Navy man.

The fact that nearly everyone has bad things to say about tournament fishing glitter boats is enough of an indictment of them. We've all been nearly ran over by a basshole doing 70 mph down a canal full of anchored vessels, or been fussed at for fishing in "their" spot, or witnessed them ignoring simple navigational rules.

You were trying to split blame between a vessel underway and an ANCHORED vessel for a collision in the daylight. There's a disease among glitter boaters where they think being able to keep the thing from flipping over at 80mph means they are the best captains on the water and have the right of way.

We're going to end up with speed limits on the water one day because of shite like this. Police your own people.

Big Bass and redfish tournaments are the damned worse though.

I did both and I have to agree

You must never bass fish on weekends during the spawn or red fish the marsh within a 50 mile radius of a big tournament. Do YOU ever spend time in a boat?

The only time I've ever done it is was by mistake because I avoid all tournaments at all costs, but even the guys scouting can be bad.

Like all things, the few bad ruin it for the good, but the bassholes and marsh blasters are the 2nd worse people on the water, 2nd only to the drunks.
