Been on generator power for a couple hours north of Covington. Looks like we’re about to get the worst of it. Several ranch waters deep. Smoked a pork butt for supper.

Morgan City here. That was an arse whooping we took for 4 hours or so. Never seen the water that high on my street - and I been here 50 years. Utility poles snapped on both ends of my block and fell across the street so we trapped for a while. No electricity but better than a lot of folks who got flooded down the road from me.
