day and night. we slept about 6-7 hours the whole time. lots of hunting.
I think the most sleep I got at one time was a nap on Saturday afternoon. Our least productive type of hunting was spotlighting. The strong winds had the pigs in a different pattern, per BP. When we were out hunting Saturday evening, there were tornados 20 miles north of us, but we were spared most of the really bad weather.

Looks like an awesome time.
34 hogs in 48 hours seems like a non stop adventure.
So ive got to ask, what happened to his truck?

Good to know BP is willing to still have people out after his truck got totaled on that other trip.
3 of the 4 people in that truck on that dark and jackknifed day were on the hunt this weekend. I will give you one guess who wasn't there...
ETA: and it wasn't a total, but it was a really bad jackknife on a 6 month old truck...

trip with BleedingPurple. by DieselTiger1This weekend wickowick, BigHoss, and myself joined up with BleedingPurple at his place in Tx to do a little population control.
Confused. These are nice pics, but did you guys just not see any rocks? Or are those pics still being edited?

is the guy in the 3rd picture of the original post gay?

Damn, nice.
How does one get a chance to kill some pigs on his place?!

Man that is a nice haul. One of the pics shows some pen shot hogs. Did y'all trap some too?

Oh yeah, well I went to a 1 year olds birthday party.

Wow! Good job. That must have been a blast. Now, if only you could do it every weekend for the next five years, you might put a dent in the population.

Great haul!! I'm curious about the trap/pen. What type of entry does it have? Is a funnel or does it have a trip that shuts a gate?

Search on BPs user name. He's had a thread on it probably 3+ years ago

BP is off the grid on a float trip for a week, but from what I saw there were a number of different door designs, that close with a strong spring. A thin wire requires around 15lbs of force to trip the trap.

Looks like a great trip. Thanks for the pics
