How many of you guys have upgraded your BCG cam pin? Had a guy tell me about the the POF roller cam pin.
I think POF has found a new way to separate people from their money.

What's the purpose of a red dot sight?
A better question is, why would anyone choose a red dot now over a decent LPVO?
Once I got one, my red dot/ magnifier combo found a permanent home in a box in my closet.

Lighter, quicker on target, larger FOV, better eye relief, easier to use around barriers or odd shooting positions, not susceptible to a magnification change from a drop, etc. There's a reason why a huge chunk of people who rock LPVOs also run an offset red dot.

Because they're still much better for CQB.

I never shoot past 100 yards and the ammo I use won't reliably fragment past that distance anyhow so it's red dot for me.

Because they're faster. I have magnified optics on ARs, but the bedside gun has an Eotech.

Just ordered one of the new PSA Sabre lowers. B5 Bravo stock and grip, Hiperfire RBT Trigger with JP Reduced Power Springs, Battle Arms pivot pins, Sprinco buffer spring, Radian Talon 45/90 ambi safety. All for $270. Seems like a great deal. Going to pair with one of the FN CHF uppers I have and make a sub $700 duty gun.

Primary arms has everything Geisslle on sale this weekend. I am going to be moving my AR triggers to Hiper Fire PDI’s. The reset is absolutely incredible.

Primary Arms has SSA-E for the same price, which is a a far superior trigger than the SSA.
The SSA is actually really close to the Schmid two stage at more than 2x the price on sale.
Geissle is also running a blem receiver sale for around $70 each yesterday.

the PSA sale is for the SSA-E as well. i just "abbreviated". didn't realize there was a regular SSA and a SSA-E.
everyone is probably running a sale on them seems like.

Different purposes, not a difference in quality. I have the regular (it’s the SDC) on the home defense rifle, the SDC-E on a scoped AR.

The E is better for a precision setup, SSA is still better for a defensive carbine.
