So I just finished frying 25 pounds of catfish, 4 batches of fries and 2 batches of hush puppies. I don't want to see another piece of fried food for 2 weeks.

I was in Benson at my grandparents. (just south of Mansfield). Left BR at 6 this morning, got there and cooked for 4 hours, hung out for a few hours and I just got back to BR. Been a long day but worth it. Night fellers.

Found out today I got a little out of shape over the summer. A bit sore. Skiing muscles aren't the same as kayaking. I think if I hadn't come to the avalanche, I would have made it to the top of the mountain, but not sure I would have gotten down as sore as I am.
Next weekend we are hitting up Echo Cove/Berners Bay, went and scoped it out today. Still a lot of snow, but not bad. No road access, but its one hell of a kayak trip to some beautiful waterfalls. Saw a lot of sea lions today, no whales.
Following Weekend I am going to Bettles, north of the arctic circle, weekend after that going to Sitka.
