So my question stands, will 2000# be ok to haul my four wheeler?

Aren't they usually between 500-600 lbs maxed out? I'd think you'd be fine.

I only have room to store an 8' or 10' max. And the 8' is really cheap. Ill get a bigger one once i have more place to park it. Im just tired of loading my bike into the back of my truck

Same here. I have one that I need to measure. It was my grandfather's and my Uncle has it stored at his place now. I can't remember the size. The way my driveway is set up I can't park it outside, but thankfully the way my garage runs my entire basement, I think I can get a 5x8 or maybe a 6x8 inside. I just need to measure total length and see if I can still park the Jeep in there too without it being in the way. My wife hates this idea, but there are many times a trailer would come in handy.

I don't know him but I see a guy down the street with one of the folding Harbor Freight 3/4 ton trailers. I've seen him haul his Honda Foreman, a golf cart, or two dirt bikes on it. Of course not all at the same time. It's a tilting bed he just drives the golf cart or Foreman right on it. He's not easy with it either. Looks like he is trying to jump it like a ramp when he drives his stuff on it and it slams down pretty hard. I do like how it folds up and he just sticks it on the back wall of his garage.

Looks like this one.

Edited to add it doesn't come with decking you had to add that for yourself.

Don't forget to add the weight of the trailer to that. A 2k axle severely limits what you can safely put on the thing

I have an old 5x8 i got for free. I use it to carry the rancher from my house to the deer lease (2 miles). I've hauled it 150 miles 1 way on the interstate. Wasn't ideal but all I had.
It is small enough to pull with 4 wheeler and that has come in handy. Can't put much else with 4wheeler.

If I had to trailer to Mississippi with gear I'd get a 6x12 or 14.

The GVWR is 1500#. That would mean the trailer is rated for hauling up to 1500 pounds, correct?

Same goes for sheds and barns.

Yeah, that means the trailer weighs 500lbs if it is all legal

Well the 2000 includes the weight of the trailer. Say that is 400 pounds. Will you need to haul more than 1600 pounds of stuff?

If not then it will be fine. If your needs change you can always sell it.

I am curious what his price difference is on a 2000lb and a 3500lb trailer. I can think of so many things heavier than 2000lbs I have put on my 4x8 trailer, but I have a 3500lb axle and beefy frame. Hell, I've put 3500+ in the bed of my truck many times.

Rent some equipment and don't want to pay delivery $$$
