lol that’s exactly where we fish, from Stetsons to the narrows. Rent a house near white hole. Will be there in mid June. The last few years we’ve whacked them pretty good

I wonder what happened to the Didymo?
Last time I went I got so disgusted I never went back.
We stared going there in 1980,moved there in ‘83 stayed 2 years and moved back to La in ‘85.
After that we would make a trip about every year.Had some good trips on the Buffalo River also.
I really liked living there but the pay was terrible,we would have never been able to retire.
I very much regret not moving back there when I retired.

We started going to Gaston’s in the mid 80’s. Started doing a Buffalo trip in the late 80s through early 2000’s. Got caught in a really bad storm there in 2000 and damn near drowned. I love it up there. Would give my left one to have a place on the White.

I have cooked them every way possible. They are terrible. I am catch and release only lol
The pin bones are a pain and the main reason I don't keep them. If roasted whole then picked, make a crab dip - but with the trout as the meat. I guarantee you'll eat a pound of it with Keebler's Club Crackers.

Joe Brown Park in NOLA. I value my life too much to catch a few trout.
