Stoeger M3000 (3in) or Stoeger M3500 (3.5in) and used the rest for your Life time Hunting and Fishing License.

I'm left handed and grew up shooting a hand-me down Model 37 Featherweight Ithaca gun. A new BPS was the first thing I bought when I got my first paycheck after high school working a summer gig before college. They didn't have 3 1/2" in the bps at the time, however.

I've got several other pump guns, but my BPS is my go-to.

I am spoiled now after having a semi-auto. My 870 stays in the safe now.

I guess your not as much of a boss as your name would lead us to believe. J/k buy a used gun in good condition and get a bennelli or beretta auto

It'd also be hard to find a Remington 1100 in stores as most carry the 11-87 now and the folks saying the 870 are either cheap or haven't shot a quality shotgun

A Franchi shotgun is basically a SBE inside. The Affinity is 3" and Intensity is 3.5".
IMHO 870 has been junk for at least a decade. A Pump that jams?

Franchi is a great shotgun as well. Stoeger, Franchi, and Benelli all are made in Italy. Benelli is the parent company of Stoeger

I have an 870 for dove, quail, etc.
And a Beneli super nova for ducks and geese. Both take a beating and keep on truckin.

A wingmaster is hardly a cheap shotgun.

Remember to actually hold whatever sounds good at the time first. I've shot most of the guns mentioned, some fit me some didn't. I've had many cheaper guns shoot better than my expensive ones simply because they fit ME better. There is no one size fits all gun.

You can pick up a used Beretta A390 for 400-700 depending on the finish. One of the best auto's ever made. I have shot them all. Low recoil and it will cycle the lightest clay loads, to the heaviest magnum loads. I have some of the newer auto's mentioned above and I can't seem to leave the Beretta at home.

I do not. I almost bought one. I bought the Benelli Montefeltro. However, the Affinity is an incredible value. I'm going to buy one.
