Seems like we’re about a week past peak in Madison Parish.
We did have the earliest serious chases that we’ve ever experienced. This was around 12/7. Same thing happened at a camp about 1.5 miles down the road. Mature bucks chasing in a field in the middle of the day.

A coworker just came back from Tensas, he's been hunting there for years, he said it was just starting. He saw 8 bucks in three days including 2 shooters and one was a giant. They were both chasing does. His group saw a lot of deer.

In waterproof... Christmas week and between Christmas and New Years was hot... now we have bucks back at feeders just eating with does. Everyone once in a while we see a chase of some kind. The scrap activity is next to nothing but the tree rubs are still popping up.
