The same as if fido got in your garbage.

So I should take it back to the owner or to a pound right? How many times should I do this before taking matters into my own hands?

It's way too early to dance. I don't think there are any bars even open. So unless you like dancing by yourself in your office you MUST FINISH MY BORING CONVERSATION

I'm willing to bet that not one person on here has seen the same dog (unless its a deer dog) run off deer on more that one occasion.

In the extremely unlike event that you are seeing the same escaped or loose pet on your propoerty 3 times or more you are obviously close to a property line and you should be able to figure out where the dog belongs.

Frankly, I think most of you are full of shite.

Back to topic: I wouldn't let my kids go running around people's hunting property during hunting season so why they frick are dog owners letting their dogs. I see a lack of severe fricking responsibility being put on the dog owners in these cases cause 98% of the time, they know exactly what their dog is doing, not doing shite about it, and are completely at fricking fault. Dog pays the price, which is truly no big deal cause half you frickers are okay with shooting stray dogs so there is know moral dog difference to the dog if he's a stray or has a home.

Two years ago i was hunting some property in Madison county Mississippi with a buddy of mine, it was his uncle's property. I was heading out for an afternoon hunt and as I went over a hill in the back of the pasture I saw 3 dogs down at the bottom of the hill near a pond about 200 yards away, my first thought was the dogs belonged to my buddies uncle so of course I wasn't going to shoot them but i didn't want them screwing up my hunt so I called to the dogs and i was going to bring them back up to the house, as soon as I called to them they came at me with teeth showing and the hair on their backs standing up, they were only 200 yards away when they started at me, and I am in the middle of the pasture with a climbing stand on my back thinking great I am about to shoot this guys dogs, they closed into about 100 yards away and i started shooting, I shot two of them with my .270, I only had 4 bullets in my rifle and i emptied it on those bastards and thank god I carry a .45 long colt on my side when I deer hunt, i had to shoot the last one at about 10 feet with my .45 long colt. two of the dogs were Rotweiler mix and weighed about 80 pounds a piece. I say all of that to say this, I don't like shooting dogs and i wouldn't have shot those dogs had they not acted the way they did, but now that I have a 7 year old that likes to go off in the woods near the house by himself with his pellet gun the thought of what those fricking mangy mutts would do to a 7 year old is always on my mind, so i shoot all stray dogs that don't have a collar, period.
