Yes, but only to be amazed at the display of poor reasoning skills.

Not worth reading.

Bottom line, a couple of guys think it is okay to shoot nice dogs with collars if they have warned the owners 27 times.

Real bottom line, this has never happened and everybody is talking in stupid hypotheticals.

You have missed nothing.

Last time i was hunting I came across a pack of 10-12 vicious little dachshunds chasing a few bucks that were scared shitless. I tried shooting them but they were too quick.

SIMPLEST SOLUTION!

Keep your dog, pet, property, family (whatever you refer to as your dog) on your property and there will be no problems!

That IS what I'd do. Nothing more. I'd imagine you still kill your limit each year even with the interruptions.

I guess I'm just more tolerant and patient of a pet.

I was squirrel hunting in MO on my FIL property and a doe comes running through followed by a dachshound. No shite. We both stood there and watched it run bettween us and then chuckled and went back to hunting bushy tails.

you shouldnt have to keep your dog on your own land to prevent it from being shot. No reason I should be fearful of my dog being harmed because I took it to work with me and some slapnuts got pissed because we walked up on him hunting

I dont know what kind of laws are in texas, but this is pretty clear in Louisiana.

Leash Law

If you dont want your dog dead because it went on someone else's property, then chain them up or fence them in.

I love this. It's all the owner's fault.

Good point. Because dogs never get loose.
