quote:

Honest question here: Do squirrels really feed at night?

Never heard of it myself, but you never know what you'll hear or read online.

People give the full moon way too much credit for it's perceived effects on wildlife. There are so many factors that can affect wildlife, but the moon is the most visible, so people naturally assume it has more of an impact than it likely does.

Got 6 but shoulda had my limit. They were moving slow.

Killed one with a wolf. Cut around it and the Internet said it’s perfectly safe.

I only killed 2. Saw 2 others but they were out of range. Wind picked up and really messed things up. On the bright side it had bee about 20 yrs since I went squirrel hunting. Felt good to be out there.

Squirrels have probably cost me a few deer.... watching them flying through the trees and missing a limb gets me rolling!

First year in a long time I got to hunt by myself. Usually it’s me and small balls vs my dad in a battle royale. This year they teamed up against me. I whipped them 8-4.

I shot a big fox squirrel on the ground. One shot, in the head. When I walked up there were two dead squirrels. One didn't have a mark on it. Did I shoot some mating squirrels and scare one to death?

Missed one this morning, took the 22 instead of the 12 gauge and regret it. Went back this evening and the mosquitoes eventually drove me out of the woods
