My dad died a few months ago and he has a monster brown fallow, a really nice axis and a sika deer. I have no use for these. Is there a market for these someplace ?

I can’t imagine many people want mounts of game others shot.

Some pictures wouldn't hurt.

There is a market for this.

I put a few on eBay and a restaurant reached out and bought them.

I would contact interior decorators but ebay is probably your best bet

I know a guy who had a room full of mounts. Some broker picked them up to sell.
Long story short, none were sold.
There is a market, but not a big one.

Any local stores or restaurants that you go to have mounts?

Might be kind of cool if you get one of them to hang one and when you go to the place you can think “that’s dad’s deer”

There is a market. These guys are horn brokers out of Gunnison, Colorado.

LINK

There’s demand to decorate lodges for people that don’t hunt. There’s probably more demand out West, but also plenty of lake houses to decorate in the East.

Sold a deer mount to a car dealership in Kansas.

Don’t get burned on shipping. Do your research. Packing it is a bitch.
