Updated forecast shows a drop in the wind and seas on the coast. Looks like its gonna be a good weekend.

I'm getting wind 10-15 tomorrow, dropping to around 10 seas 1-2 then dropping thru weekend. Sunday looks like a good day to sweat away your sins.

No weekend plans but am going to hit the mandeville lakefront this evening and try to get drug around by a jack in the yak. They've been hitting the mullet between the jetties in the afternoon/evening

Not one jack fish was caught at the Yak a Jack tournament last weekend.

I'm sitting in the camp drinking a beer eating a cinnamon roll waiting for this wind to lay down.

5 of us went out in yaks put the mandeville harbor. Lake was glass and the evening was just gorgeous. Caught 4 nice size gafftops and a lady fish. Just for fun those suckers fight and the ladyfish did its impression of a tarpon. I could've stayed out there all night.

me and the wife are flying to cabo in the morning for 3 days fishing.

with flights, food, drinks, and boat its still cheaper than 2 days offshore in venice.
