I would not think the xbows did that. Most shops are selling the heck out of xbows.

Yep, Bowie's did that to me last time with no warning and I bought a dozen

Yup. I would have just saved 24 bucks and cut them myself if I'd known they were gonna charge for it

My favorite shop was Sportsman’s corner in Baker. I grew up going in there and they were always willing to help me with whatever I needed. I remember buying my 1st bow in 92 and Mr Frank helping me get setup .

Mr. Frank is good as they come. I still talk to him often and he is still just as nice.

My dad worked at the old Sears in Baker so he got to know Mr Frank and Mrs Bonnie through there. He was always super nice to me.

Ms Bonnie passed away a couple years ago after battling cancer. Awesome people.

I knew she passed away but didn’t realize it was cancer. They always treated people fairly. The lag time I talked to Mr Frank was when my dad died. We spoke for quite awhile and I definitely appreciated him reaching out to me.
I still remember Bert giving me a hard time when I’d go in there to get arrows or get my bow tuned . He’s been gone for a few years also. Great people and memories from years ago.

I remember talking to Bert on the ph and telling him I wanted a new bow. He said “man you gotta come see these new bows that only have 1 single cam, it’s crazy.” That was the beginning of a bad habit of buying Mathews bows. Bought many from that guy.

The last one I bought from him was a Matthews Mq32 in 99. It was $600 and I remember my dad telling me he couldn’t believe I spent that much on something that could only shoot 30 yards .
