I have the 2.0 Shield Plus in 9mm and the 2.0 Shield in 40. Not much help, I know, but I love them both!

My buddy carries a Shield Performance Center in 45. He loves it, 45 is his go-to. If 45 is your preferred round I’d say it’d be a great conceal option based on my experience with the Shield and Shield Plus in 9.

If 45 is not necessarily the round you prefer, I’d recommend the Shield Plus in 9. Modern day ballistics on the 9 rival the 45 for self-defense, plus you increase your capacity double or more depending on which mag you run, 10 or 13.

I can't attest to a Shield in .45 as mine is .40 but for the $300 or $350 I paid for it roughly 10 years ago, I like it and it serves its purpose as a budget hand gun.

MP Shield in .45

It's badass. 45 is more of a "push" recoil than a snappy recoil

I've got the Shield 9mm and love shooting it. I prefer it to the Glock.

Yep. The .45 pushes into your palm and really isn’t bad to shoot. The 9mm is fine too, but the .40 is a little too snappy in that gun.

…But if you buy the shield .40 you can buy the 9mm conversion barrel and basically have 9mm and a .40.

The shield.45 is a really nice feeling gun and a good shooter.

Take a Walther PPQ .45 for a try.

Good trigger, comfortable grip and accurate

Ordered one. One gun website had them for $375 or so and that was before the $75 rebate.
