I hope you got a degree in something good because paying 30k for a 5y/o truck with >60k miles is not the best financial move.

Love it. Would only sell it to get a newer one. This is my second one. I drove the same truck but '10 for two years before getting the '12.

Can't see paying for something over 60k over 25k. I'd say neither.

getting a loan, maybe? i work 25hrs a week during school and full time in between semesters. with the down payment after i sell my truck, the note would be what i make in 2 nights.

lol at you

note for a 4 year term would be extremely manageable

I agree it will be manageable month-to-month, but you will possibly be 4 yrs out of school and still be paying a note on a truck that was made when you were in high school. The truck isn't getting any newer, no matter how small the note is.

Keep the paid off truck.

Whoever told you that generation truck falls apart after 100k is full of shite. We have several 06-08 f150's in our fleet with 200k plus. Just bite the bullet and get the spark plugs changed if you haven't already, and keep the transmission serviced.
