No, the guide in questions sucker punched a homeless guy in Florida and put his dad, a police lieutenant, in a bad position. The video is on Youtube...

No, I thought the last thread went too far.
It was a shitty thing to do, and I feel bad for the OP, but it didn't warrant the reaction that has come from the OB.
For whatever reason, everyone here has taken it upon themselves to white knight for this guy. I think it's good for him to be held accountable, but it's gone beyond that. People here are literally trying to ruin this guy's career because of this one incident. It's absurd.

Offered a full refund and to reschedule for free I believe but OP didn't accept. Think he only accepted 1/2 refund

Well it looks like the guide came out smelling like a rose on this deal. All he had to do was crush the dreams of a man wanting to take his son sight fishing.

Night before the trip the guide calls and says see you about 5 am. Boat will be gassed up and full of ice.
OP gets call early the next morning from the guide claiming he had car trouble but not to worry another guide was going to take them.
Guide B was late and they don't leave until after 6:30 am missing the sunrise bite.
Guide B does not sight fish. Makes them fish dead shrimp on bottom while boat is anchored.
Guide A sends Guide B a text about killing the reds and guide B shows OP.
OP has his suspicions confirmed that this is fricked up by us.
Guide A offers 50% refund.
OP accepts.
Guide A wins tournament he ditched the OP to pre-fish.

Correction: OP gets call early the next morning from Guide B who explains that Guide A can't make it and he's going to take the other guide's place. But he has "car trouble" and is going to be an hour late.
