I recommend gasoline because it evaporates and the fumes kill them. Pour a q6 oz coke bottle full of gasoline down the hole at night, and you will not see a single insect emerge. I was nervous when I did it, but it was easy as hell.

Yes Yellowjacket is asshoe. Nothing says muzzle loader season in Colorado like the continuous hum of those bastards in the woods when the morning warms up. Trying to be still and quiet while they circle the wagons is a bitch.
