Aren't there areas around Seattle, though, that aren't crowded and overpriced? I would prefer that, personally.

You're going to laugh at me, but the reason why I keep saying Washington is I want to be in the NW but also bordering Canada. That really only leaves a few states.

Yeah, there are. The metro is creeping toward the Cascades. I just wouldn't want to do business daily in downtown Seattle if I didn't have to. Took almost an hour to take a drive that should have taken 20 min.
