No way it’s Nikki . Desantis or Kristin Noem would be my choices . If Nikki is the choice then she gets destroyed. Trump supporters are not sell outs like most Bernie supporters . Nikki vs Harris Would be great for the smaller parties.

Not saying she’s my first choice. But, Trump actually really likes Haley. Let her report directly to him as US ambassador to the UN vs the Sec of State. Which hasn’t really ever happened.

I'd love to see a Rand Paul/ Trey Gowdy ticket. Or Justin amash. Maybe chavetz(?). Frontrunner tho is Cruz if he isn't elected to SC. I like bearded Ted.
Dems, if they lose, it will be a rebirth for them. Either way fricking left to cater to extremists or more moderate to be more electable. So AOC for the extremists, Tulsi for moderate

I don't see Pence mentioned a lot. After being vice president for two terms, wouldn't he be a front runner?

I hope his candidacy papers get lost in the mail

Jim Jordan
Kristi Noem
Rand Paul
Tim Scott
There's a reason they aren't on any national list. Any one these would smoke any dem they put up. The funniest thing about Trump being President is that the media are 100% responsible. They screwed themselves from the start.

Cruz in 2024.
He may be on Trump's SCOTUS list but he has already said many times that he does not want to be a Supreme Court Justice. Amy Coney Barrett would still be a good choice for SCOTUS

My guess is Nikki Haley will be the R nominee,
She's the female John Bolton. I would very literally vote for Tulsi Gabbard over Nikki Haley.

Trump, Jr.
Carlson
Lion Ted
No one else should be an option. Kristi Noem as VP.

Agreed. I don't see a damn thing wrong with Pence, but he's one of those who just gets targeted a lot. Specifically around these parts. Of course his style is quite a bit different than that of Trump (clearly) but I like the fella.

I sometimes find myself wondering "Is there perhaps a dynamic young gun coming up through the corporate world, one that nobody sees coming. That could be an interesting idea going forward. Identify, set on fast track, groom."
Serious curiosity actually.

I think there most certainly is.
It’s the reason I added the “I think we’ll see a couple more candidates from business/industry” caveat.
No one is coming to my mind right now, but that doesn’t mean a thing.

DeSantis has bigger nuts than even Trump
I live in Florida and couldn’t be happier with my Governor!
He’s my pick for 2024 unless establishment turns him like they did to other promising Floridians Rubio and Scarborough
Another local Floridian is Matt Gaetz but he’d still be very young
BTW this is a very pro Florida post but they are working great for our state

My apologies, didn't see that. Yeah I think going forward that's the most interesting thought on the subject, especially in terms of "Will there ever be another Donald Trump." Well of course he's uniquely one of a kind, but that same spirit is out there somewhere, but IMO not in the list of obvious possibilities mentioned in this thread. Such a person might just pop up on the radar in very sudden fashion. May not be a bad idea to do a bit of a low key search somehow if you're the RNC though.

Ok, if you want a guess. I'm thinking Biden doesn't finish out his term and the incumbent President runs as usual. Because the old guy is as likely to not finish as go full term.
