Cruz or DeSantis/Haley
I know many people on here despise Haley, but she checks a lot of boxes for moderate/independent voters.
Doesn't matter how awesome the nominations are if they can't win.

Elon Musk. He's got an ego almost as big as Trump's.
I don't know what ticket he would run on, but I could see him throwing his hat in the ring.

I really like DeSantis - maybe at least for a VP?

so the person dead last in the primaries? awesome!
would be like the Republicans nominating Kasich

Desantis, Cruz, Crenshaw are my three immediate choices.
Would vote for them in a second. Desantis would get moderate votes too. He was loved prior to Covid. He was at the UF Auburn games and even a lot of the students cheered for him(was in the student section) when introduced.

His mom was a US citizen living abroad.
The Naturalizarion Act of 1790 says he is a considered a natural born citizen and therefore eligible.

If Rick Scott is the GOP candidate I’m voting democrat. Worked under his leadership at HCA and it was a nightmare. He was removed by the Board.
Although I would be able to see I peed at the urinal next to the President.

Has the GOP learned nothing from nominating McCain and Romney? Nikki Haley is a neocon piece of shite. You want globalism and multiple foreign wars? Nominate her.

He won't get contested if everyone continues to play by the "rules" but is your reading of the 1790 act accurate?
I thought both parents had to be citizens. Was his dad one too?
I admit, later rulings may have changed this, it's not something I've looked a lot into.

Right now I lean toward Brian Kemp from my home state of Georgia. Jimmy Carter embarrassed most of us, and Kemp is our chance to make up for it.

Only one parent needs to qualify as a citizen, his mom in this case.
It could be contested obviously but I believe that it would be a waste of time. (Of course that doesn't mean it wouldn't happen.)
An interesting example of this would be Barry Goldwater who ran for President unsuccessfully in 1964. He was born in Arizona before it was a state but both of his parents were US citizens. To my knowledge there were no challenges made about his citizenship.
