Quite the opposite. I could not care less about Judaism, it’s followers, or any other religion for that matter.
The State of Israel is the subject of this thread. And you seem to believe that the entity is somehow analogous to the Old Testament entity because it’s named the same thing and because Jews live there. Which is quite possible the dumbest concept currently at play in American political thought, at least in the foreign policy arena.
You didn’t answer my question. Is it purely the name? Because it’s not the people or the dirt that you hold sacred. The people never left, and they have been replaced by other people. And the land remains a thin sliver of arable territory in the midst of a desert. Was the British Protectorate of Palestine comprised of Gods chosen people? Or was it importing European Jews and slapping the Israel label on it that made it good again?

Yea, I’m not following.
The religious affiliation of anyone involved in the Liberty incident is not relevant, and nothing in the OP has anything to do with Judaism.
Neither is anything that occurred in Iran.
