To what end? To simply pass the cost onto the employee directly? Unless I am missing something this would merely mean the employer paid up to the cap and the employee would pay the rest thus the employees salary is going to have to go up (not immediately but when they see their disposable income dropping they are going to ask for a raise or seek employment elsewhere and the employer is going to either pay the insurance company or the employee). The only thing that seems to come from this move ins an increase in the amount of taxable income the employee earns and an increase in the un-taxed wages the employer pays thus a shift of a non-existent tax burden from the employer to an increased tax burden on the employee...which sounds EXACTLY like a GOP plan to me....a tax increase on the middle class multiplied in many instances as a tax cut for the wealthy....and one that makes working a little less financially rewarding....BRILLIANT Move...drain the swamp my arse this is exactly the kind of shite that has been going on in Washington since the 1950's.....

IOW's: when they do fix it Obama is saying this is what he wanted all along but they (the republicans) stopped him.
