I remember when our downfall had started in my mind. Late 70's I was just a kid and recall seeing something on TV that made me question everything. A California PE teacher was having kids jump rope, without the rope. It was done to prevent the less athletic kids from looking bad when they failed. Remove the rope, failure was not possible.
Just went downhill from there with, mercy rules, participation trophies and whatever the F the NFL now calls a kickoff.

A lot of the protesters are boomers or boomer adjacent.
